What an exciting week we’ve had so far!
The R.I.S.E. challenge has generated a lot of interest around Reconnix.
All the teams have been figuring out how the Sparkfun inventor’s kit works. They’ve been familiarising themselves with the amazing Arduino Uno R3. And, banging their heads together, trying to create something innovative.
(If you are not familiar with the R.I.S.E. challenge, take a look here).
Karl Crampton, a Linux Support Technician for Reconnix and member of team A, gives his take on R.I.S.E:
I think that the R.I.S.E. challenge is great. Our team are currently getting to grips with the Inventor’s kit. And, of course, thinking of ways to win the competition. It’s brilliant having the opportunity to learn something new and be creative at the same time.
Caroline Rowe, Head of Accounts for Reconnix and member of Team D, comments on the challenge:
We are finding the challenge invigorating and exciting. It’s exciting to work with people from different disciplines. We’re looking forward to creating something spectacular—hopefully.
